coaches meetings

The Coaches Meeting for the Spring of 2025 will be held at the Main Stadium Club at Louisville Slugger Stadium.

​SPRING 2025 COACHES MEETING AGENDA

March 19, 2025

  • 5:30 pm: Doors open. Currently we will not have refreshments or snacks but we are looking into it but I believe the cost is a little too much. If this changes, I will let you know.

  • 6:00 pm: Short Introduction and presentation from the Bats Main Office discussing our partnership events.

  • 6:10pm: Each League will have a designated table/meeting space to discuss specifics of each league such as rules. I will reach out to a coach of each league to facilitate the discussion.

  • 6:45pm: We will then meet as a whole to discuss the general rules and procedures including the roster formation, umpires, game management and the typical topics we cover during all meetings.

  • 7:30pm: I will take any questions that were not covered in the league meetings and or the group meeting.

  • 7:45pm: Close the meeting...out the doors by 8:15pm.

THE MEETING LOCATION & PARKING
  • The Spring Meeting will be at the Louisville Slugger Park.  Google Map

  • Since there isn't a game going on during our meeting you will be able to park in the lot next to the stadium (where the players park) that is called the Field Parking Lot".

  • You will enter the stadium from that parking lot.

prepare for the meeting
  • If you have not indicated to the General Manager that you will be attending and/or your assistant will be attending, please do so ASAP by email.

  • Please be on time as we want to get through everything and we will start on time.  (The meeting officially begins at 6:00 pm)

  • If you have not submitted a team name/colors yet, do so by email preferably but at least be prepared to supply this information at the meeting.

  • Be prepared to schedule your practice times.

  • If you have your Lyndon Equipment from last season, please let the GM know before the meeting.

  • If you do not need Equipment, please let the GM Know before the meeting.

your practice/game equipment

We normally hand out equipment at the coaches meetings but instead of having equipment at this meeting you can pick up your equipment on these dates between the times of 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

  • Teeball March 17

  • Peewee BB and SB March 18

  • Rookie BB and Bantam SB March 20

  • Junior BB and SB March 24

  • Intermediate BB and SB March 25

  • Senior BB March 26

PRACTICE TIMES

We do normally schedule practice times during the coaches meetings but, as you probably are aware, we have a new system where you can schedule practice times early if you have the following:

  1. Your team name is official.

  2. You as the Head Coach are registered and listed on the website as the official HC

  3. Your roster has at least 10 players officially on your roster.

ONCE YOU ACHIEVE THESE THREE REQUIREMENTS YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL WITH INSTRUCTIONS TO REQUEST YOUR PRACTICE TIMES.

You will receive your updated roster via email every time the roster is updated with the goal to have it completed by the Coaches meeting for the Junior Leagues and younger.  The older leagues will take a little longer as they start later.

We will not discuss actual players in the coaches meeting but we will discuss the process of the draft.

ATTENDANCE TO THE COACHES MEETING

It is really important that a representative of your team attends the coaches meeting.  Please make sure you respond to the main office if you or your representative will be attending the coaches meeting.

Since space is limited please only one representative per team should attend the coaches meeting.
